After watching the story about Irena Sendler last night -- a Polish woman who saved 2500 children from the Warsaw Ghetto -- my heart is truly brimming with gratitude. It's impossible to list all the things I'm grateful when contrasting with that movie, but life, freedom, faimly safety, food, health, medical care, a place to live, confidence about the future, political and religious choice ... these are at the head of the gratitude list today.
